Are there any issues with pagelines DMS2 with community Events / Event calendar Pro? or specific installation or other issues with other wordpress templates?

The best way to test the Events Calendar is to try out the core version found for free on WordPress.org:

The Events Calendar

We test against the WordPress codex themes so as long as they follow closely to those standards it should work.

If the core version of the Events Calendar Works then so should our premium plugins as they just add features to core.

Unfortunately, we do not have a feature to do this as you describe. In Community Events you can setup admin notifications so when an event is submitted you are notified, but it does not include the event information or an image just a link to the event in the admin for you to view.
