ParticipantHello all. I installed the Event Calendar Pro plugin and when the calendar page is created it has a transparent background. If I hover on any day, it will turn the background white, but I need it to be white or some other light color all the time. I have tried all the different settings on “settings>display” as well as the different templates. I do not know where in the CSS it is inheriting the transparent setting or where to make a change. The url is: http://173.254.28.16/~troopth2/events/ The widget seems to be working fine (though I have done something to screw it up a bit while trying to fix this other problem. It is all monochrome now, but that is a different problem!) Any help is appreciated. If I can humbly ask that you be granular in your advice, there would be much rejoicing in WordPress land.

Moderatorfrostbyte, you’re in luck. I use the Desk Mess Mirrored Theme for our Boy Scout Troop’s website. I made a template override for default-template.php. Download it and drop it into your THEME/tribe-events/ folder.
You might want to create a simple child theme for Desk Mess Mirrored and create the tribe-events/tribe-events.css structure there as it will survive a theme update.

Moderatorfrostbyte, I think you’ll need to undo the settings > display changes that you made to get rid of the extra background.

ParticipantI had this issue too, and what fixed it for me was some CSS:
#tribe-events-content {background-color: #fff;}August 28, 2013 at 6:37 am #63299Barry
MemberThanks for that fix, billysob.
@frostbyte: since it’s been a while since you responded I’m guessing you’re all good here and will close this thread. Thanks!July 7, 2015 at 6:27 am #980413Support Droid
