Is there a way to add a button to an event page that will take them back to the month that they were viewing?

ie: If I am in the month of march and click on an event. Can we build in a button to take them back to the month that they were previously in?

Yes, I know the back button on the browser works – but my client really wants a special button

Is there a way to add a button to an event page that will take them back to the month that they were viewing?

The short answer is yes. In fact you can customize pretty much any view to your liking (adding buttons, moving stuff around, etc..).

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
