I just updated a site to Avada 3.8.8 which boasts integration with the events calendar, but I don’t think they took Wootickets into account, which is a big problem. The ticket info is now squeezed into the bottom of the side bar, which is really not wide enough.
    See example here: http://www.vigdorhess.com/event/suggestions-and-easy-how-tos-for-meals-with-caregivers/

I also don’t really like that all the meta data is in the side bar, but can work with that if I could just move the ticket info back to the main content area.

I have previously designed a site using Avada and Events Calendar with Wootickets and had shown that to the client of this new site and that is why she chose to buy Wootickets, so this new unexpected layout is frustrating. On that site, using a previous version of Avada, the ticket info was in the main content area and I successfully moved it to the bottom of the event info using your tip on support page https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-ticket-form/

I am hoping you have a similar tip for getting it out of the side bar!

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

Have you tried this coding in this guide to moving the ticket form:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-ticket-form/

That is the only method available to do it and I do not see why it would not work still.

I would also encourage you to bring it up with Avada so they can fix it in a future release.

Let me know if it works or not and we can go from here.

    Thanks

Yes it worked, yay. Avada folks also told me to try the same thing. Looks much better in the main content area! Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes I will suggest they offer options for placement of the ticket area, and ideally all of the meta data, if possible. I plan to continue using the combination of Avada and Wootickets for other sites so hope it gets as streamlined as possible.

Great glad it helps and Avada got back to you. It is the first release of the integration and they look like they want to make improvements such as this in future releases.

I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
