    Hello,

Currently, we are using AVADA theme with Events Calendar Pro. There was some confusion as we upgraded our AVADA theme and the default-template.php and associated files got deleted from the child theme. Is there anyway to recover these files?

Thank you for your suggestions and help.

    Hello,

Unless you did a backup prior to updating the Avada theme, unfortunately the customizations may have been lost :-/

You might want to try contacting your hosting company to see if they have a backup as most hosting companies do. I wish I was able to provide a more positive answer. I hope it helps and good luck recovering the lost data!

Maybe I should rephrase my question. I am curious if there is any way to get the original default-template files that Events Calendar provided when purchased and uploaded to an AVADA theme? Or is this something I would need to get from AVADA / ThemeForest?

    Hi and welcome back,

I’m still a little confused, admittedly. I’ll try my best still! You can download the current and previous versions of both the free and PRO versions. If you need something not included in our plugins (custom Avada templates), you’ll need to download whichever version of Avada desired from Themeforest.

Does this answer your question? Let me know!

Thanks for the update. I’ll close this thread out but feel free to open a new one if you’ve got any more questions. Best of luck with everything 🙂
