Automatic reminder on social media

I would like to be able to automatically tweet and post on Facebook a reminder of an upcoming event at a fixed number or hours before the event starts. I think that my users would find this a great service.

This is something that I thought would already be resolved as is must be a good feature for lots of sites. The question was asked in 2012 and an untried service was recommended. However, I’m hoping that someone has already done this.

Please can you advise on the best way to do this.

Hey Phil,

There is no functionality like this at this time, unfortunately, leaving only a few options for this as follows:
• writing the custom code yourself
• hiring a developer to write the good just for you
• find a plugin to do this for you

One such plugin I found after a quick search was this one → https://postpromoterpro.com/ This is a premium plugin but seems to be freely downloadable here → https://github.com/postpromoterpro/post-promoter-pro

I have no affiliation with this plugin and haven’t used it myself, but it’s just an example of the sort of thing out there…
