ParticipantApparently, I shouldn’t have submitted my feature request in the “suggest an idea” under the support menu (See here) .
Anyway, The Events Calendar should be smart enough to automatically hide the Google Map and Google Maps links if there is no venue on an event. Please add this functionality.
Also, please remove the “Suggest a Feature” option under the support menu (see image).

MemberHi, Aaron.
Thanks for posting here. UserVoice is the right place for suggesting features. The reason we requested you post here is because UserVoice isn’t the right place for back-and-forth exchanges.
The reason we wanted to chat here is because this is already the way things work. Here’s a screenshot of a single event page from my local testing site: https://cl.ly/3g0n1m09390c
Is this not what you are seeing? Or are you referring to a different area besides the single event page?
It could help for you to share a screenshot, link, and/or your System Information (in a Private Reply).
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.

MemberThanks for the explanation and screenshots. I confirmed this bug and marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHey there Aaron
We’ve just released an update that should fix this bug. You can read more about it at http://m.tri.be/19tp. Please update your plugins and let us know if you are still experiencing this or if we can close out this ticket.
Note: We suggest testing updates on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
