Auto-post to Twitter

I wasn’t sure if it would even work but once I had the plugin installed, it tweeted all my events automatically which was awesome but it is also tweeting the venues which is somewhat annoying and I am not sure how to fix this. Any thoughts are appreciated. Using Tweetly Updater, Gabfire Themes and 3.4.1. Everything is up to date within two months. I may write an exception into Twitter, but have to muddle through that one a bit.

Hi Andrea,

What plugin are you using for the auto tweets? I don’t think we’ll be able to help you with this. You’ll need to figure out how to exclude the venues in the tweets via whoever wrote that plugin.

As noted above, Tweetly Updater. Found it hadn’t been updated since I first installed it two years ago. I tried to use syndication via Networked Blogs but the events don’t go in to my regular feed. I am sure there are posts here that can direct my how to do that (can’t be the first to have this problem!!) so I am looking but if you can point me in the general direction, I would appreciate it. I believe if events were in the regular stream they would automatically go to Twitter and Facebook etc as they should. I will also look at the code too but I am not sure it will be feasible as it is old and unsupported at this time.
