Auto-complete name and email from WP User

Hi there,

I’m exploring the possibility of using TEC as a way to have our registered WP users sign-up for a particular event. At the moment, I’ve trying things with your Event Ticket add-on and will be able to have someone RSVP for an event, but I can’t find a way to auto-complete the “Full Name” and “Email” of the attendee based on their WP user account details. I’ve searched Support for everything I could, but haven’t found the nugget of info to crack the issue.

I also hope to get some clarification on recurring events. I would be using this for events happening twice daily for 2 weeks (e.g., 20 combined AM & PM sessions) where the registered WP users would sign-up for only one session. From what I understand TEC Pro would allow me to set up all those sessions as one event, but with each session treated as an individual selection. Am I understanding this correctly?

Autofill
The template for Event Tickets RSVP is found here:

plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/rsvp.php

You could follow our themer’s guide to modify it in your theme:

There you might be able to add some functions to autofill. That is about all we can provide for help on customizations.

Recurring Events
It would be possible to setup a recurring event do this, but the tickets due not support individual recurring events in the series so if you had tickets it would count for all the entire series of events and not each individual event in the series. So if you have a ticket for the first event the system actually uses that same ticket for all the events.

We are looking to support tickets for each individual event, but I do not have a timeline when that might happen.

Thanks Brian for the quick response. For now I probably could create 20 separate ticket types to cover each session within the event, but supporting the various ticketing ways would be beneficial. Understand about the customization, I had just hoped one of the plugins already had the capability of grabbing the WP user account info and I was just overlooking that feature.
