Attendees numbers on events list gone since 4.2 update

Hi

Since updating everything to 4.2 (Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus) the total attendees for each event on the main events list on the back end has disappeared, any idea what happened there?

We are using the Advanced Post Manager plugin to filter and control the back end list display, and the option to display the ticket sales has gone from here as well.

Hey Joe,

Sorry to hear about the mysteriously disappearing attendee lists. I just did a quick check in our logged bug reports, but luckily it doesn’t seem like it’s a widespread problem as no relative reports exist at this time.

Our first step here would be to review our Testing for conflicts guide to see if we can identify the source of contention. Respond back with what you learn and we’ll take it from there.

Thanks for the response.

I’ve gone back to Twenty Sixteen, disabled everything but Modern Tribe plugins, and the option to display ticket sales in the event list columns still isn’t there. I’ve also got no PHP or JS errors anywhere.

This feature has worked fine through various updates since it was introduced and it’s only since this update that it’s gone.

Welcome back, Joe!

After some more testing and conversing, it appears we have indeed “left out” certain columns when using Advanced Post Manager which is causing problems. I confirmed this by reverting back to version 4.1.3. and then back up to 4.2.

With that said, we’ve logged a bug and are already at work on a fix to get this addressed in an upcoming maintenance release. I don’t have a solid date for you, but rest assured it’s on the way! Keep an eye on our blog and your wp-admin for update info.
