ParticipantAgain, would like to add to this after further testing.
– Updated WooCommerce to 3.0.7 but made no odds
– Recreated entire test site
– Created a new test event, placed order using COD not a payment gateway and shows– Back on the live site I added a new event, went through the test and nothing in the attendee list
Can’t see why the test site would work and the live site would fail – they’re exactly the same, the test site is in a sub directory on the same server
At a total loss now.
– Same server
– Same theme
– Same plugins
– Same updatesAny ideas? Sorry to keep updating this but getting desperate for a solution! As mentioned before, happy to provide cpanel, ftp or wp access to help speed up a solution
Thanks

MemberOn your testing site, please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Tickets and make sure you have boxes checked for the 2 options in the “WooCommerce Support” section.
After saving these options, please try again. If still not, please re-share your testing site’s System Information Report in a Private Reply.

MemberDid you purchase a ticket with a unique Attendee Information value and search for it in your database?
Please use the Duplicator plugin to create a full backup (files and database — please check the box to exclude the uploads folder if it’s large) and link me to download it in a Private Reply.
I might then be able to try and replicate the issue on my own testing server with your site’s files and database.
Thank you.

ParticipantRight
I’ve finally solved the issue and it stems from this code added to woocommerce/emails/email-order-itemsp.php
Code can be seen here: https://pastebin.com/i4R1NP80
It allows the attendee names to be added into the Woo emails
I guess once Woo updated to version 3, this caused conflict.
Can’t quite see what’s causing the issue though – any help there would be good
Otherwise, I think the site is now running ok!!

MemberSimon, thanks for sharing that information, but I didn’t find that code in Event Tickets Plus (ET+) at all.
Is this custom code you’ve added somewhere? The folder structure / file location you described doesn’t match that of ET+ or WooCommerce.

ParticipantThanks
It’s custom code that had to go on the WooCommerce file rather than an ET+ file
It would be good to know if there is another way of doing this?

MemberSimon, best practice for adding custom code (like to implement a PHP snippet) is to create a functionality plugin, unless it’s something specific to your theme, in which case best practice is to make sure you’re using a child theme<i>,</i> then add the customization to your child theme’s functions.php file.
I hope this information helps!
