Attendees Information and RSVP

Dear Modern Tribe Leaders:
I am an agency license holder and have 4 sites with community events. I had raised the issue of RSVP and attendees information for the event managers / posters. I was told that this feature was being developed. Meanwhile I was referred to a very good EVENT ROCKET PLUGIN by a third party. Please do not ask me to contact Event Rocket publisher since I am already in contact with Barry. I noticed that Event Rocket works well when I add an Event as administrator( Logged in as administrator). But RSVP section is not available when someone else logs in as a user (means using community event plugin). Do you have any solution for that ?

Secondly, what progress has been made in original Event Calendar and or community event to enable an organizer to get some info on attendees and RSVP issue.

I was told that woocommerce ticket has been upgraded to help with attendees info. I bought and added the plugin but the site looked messy with Shopping cart and commerce messages on every page.

Thanks for reaching out. I am happy to hear you are in touch with Barry. Currently his plugin just does not support adding that field to Community Events, nor is there any known workaround at the moment. It’s possible he might be interested in adding the RSVP support Community Events as well. But, to be honest I doubt that he will. Reason being: we are nearing completion on a full RSVP solution that will really expand and improve upon Barry’s work, and he has been helping with that.

Alongside the RSVP feature we are building the “tickets meta” feature, which will allow you to add fields for collecting information about each ticketholder. Both of these features will enter beta soon, and you would be welcome to test them out if you’re interested. You can sign up here (click me).

In short, I  don’t think there is a solution to your RSVP issue available right now. But we will be releasing one very soon alongside the ability to collect attendee info. Does that answer your questions?
