ParticipantHi
If a user signs up for 5 tickets and doesn’t enter the correct names for attendees as they don’t know them at that stage, how do I amend this so I have the correct attendee names in the list?
Thanks!

MemberGood evening Richard and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe using the following extension will do just the trick: attendee-data-editor
This plugin adds an “Edit Details” link to the attendee table, next to the existing “View Details” toggle.
Clicking this should bring up a dismissable modal
The same form that we expose to authenticated users on the frontend (to edit their attendee data) should be exposed within this modal
On save, any changes should successfully be committed
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Richard,
Thank you for writing back.
You can install this as a plugin.
Either unzip and upload the file in your /wp-content/plugins folder OR use the Add Plugin menu which lets you upload the zip file.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHi
You also mention a front end section where users can amend on our website these details, how do they do that?
Thanks!
Rich

MemberGood evening Rich,
Users can amend the attendee data themselves.
The simplest way to achieve this is to:
- Login to your site with their user credentials
- Navigate to the Event’s page
They should see a link with a text along the lines of “You have X ticket(s) for this event”
Clicking on this link they are provided with the ability on modifying the attendee data.
You can test this out if you have a user-switching plugin.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantOK, so they have to have made an account on the site then?

MemberGood evening Richard,
Normally, a WordPress account is created automatically on the site for them (unless you have adjusted the settings to allow otherwise in Events -> Settings -> Tickets or in WooCommerce).
The user role is typically something like “Customer”.
Let me know how that goes.
