I see that this has been an issue for other users recently but there doesn’t appear to be a clear cut solution so far.
It’s very important for us to have each attendee name appear on each individual ticket. Currently, tickets are all emailed with just the purchaser name on each ticket, which will cause some confusion if many tickets are ordered at once. I want to minimise any chaos on the day of the event 🙂
I can see that you’ve directed another user to this page – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/ but it really isn’t clear enough what I need to do. Which template do I edit for the emailed tickets, and what do I need to add?
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry you are having this issue. Indeed, you are not the only one. We are aware of the importance of this, we already have an internal ticket for the issue. I’ll add your thread to it to give it more push.
Meanwhile the only workaround is to downgrade to version 4.1 of the plugins. You can find these older versions under your Downloads in your account at theeventscalendar.com.
We wanted to follow-up to let you know that we were able to patch this up in Event Tickets Plus 4.2.2, which is now available to download and install if you haven’t done so already.
