I am experiencing the same issue and my system information is below. Wondering if the information is still stored in the database or if we need to contact these people to get their information. Thanks!

    Hi, Tanya.

    Thanks for linking there.

There are some edge case scenarios that may be causing this, or it might be a more popular cause, particularly some hosting environments.

Could you please provide details about your host, your phpinfo.php, and any other detailed troubleshooting information you may be able to share in a Private Reply?

To be clear, I wasn’t saying GoDaddy was updating their version to PHP 7, which might be what WP Engine might have thought you were asking for. I do not know exactly what versions they went from and to.

But please do let me know how downgrading goes for you.

Yes, I understood that. And I downgraded and it is saving the details now. Thank you!

    Thanks for the update, Tanya.

Sorry again that you’re experiencing this. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.

This thread will be updated once the fix is released.

I was wondering if there is an update on this issue. I see a new maintenance release came out, but I don’t see this issue addressed. Thanks!

Tanya, I believe we’ve finally discovered the cause of this bug. I believe if you uncheck the first box in each of these 2 options the bug will go away: https://cl.ly/0q383o0w472a (at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Tickets tab)

It, of course, will eventually be fixed once we’re certain it’s the cause.

Would you please report back what checkboxes you had, then what you changed them to, and your findings thereafter?

    Hi,

I have this same problem also with Event Ticket Pro and attendee data and found the solution, among other bugs, you describe above. I posted this on February 23th (before this thread was even created) here.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/custom-field-values-for-attendees-not-saved-to-cart/

I didn’t hear from your for a week after that. Since then there have been TWO release cycles, and NO mention of this anywhere in the release notes (not what I could find).

Do you listen to your PAYING customers? This gives you a bad name handling support errands and serious bugs like this. It has caused us many problems and we have used many hours to try to handle this. I urge you to do the same.

Yes! This seemed to work! Thanks so very much.

Andras, sorry you did not feel well-served on this topic. This particular bug was elusive and I was asking Tanya if she could confirm/replicate our findings. Were you also able to confirm this solution worked for you, like it seems Tanya was able to.

Yes, when we found this solution and reported it to you. We had no solution at the time from you to confirm.

Andras, please continue on with your discussion at the thread you created, which was for multiple tickets purchased at the same time (slightly different issue than what was reported here).

Tanya, please let me know how things went for you.

If we don’t hear back from you, we’ll still have this thread in Pending Fix status and it’ll receive an update once the fix is released.
