The scenario:
- User selects a woocommerce-based ticket with custom attendee data, enters values for the custom fields and puts the ticket in the basket.
- User proceeds to the checkout page, selects the payment method (DIBS for WooCommerce in this case) and proceeds to the screen to enter credit card information.
- User selects Cancel.
- The user is back at the order completion screen with a message that the order has been cancelled. The ticket still seems to be placed in the basket.
- The user proceeds to the checkout page, selects the payment method (as above) and this time successfully completes the payment.
- The user is back at the order completion screen with a message that the order has been received and processing. The order created in this second step is separate from the cancelled one in the first step.
- The ticket created is missing all attendee custom field data. This is regardless of the number of tickets in the basket, all attendee data in all tickets are lost.
This behaviour is incorrect. If tickets are kept in the basket after the first “cancelled” attempt, they should retain all their attendee values. If not, the basket should be cleared (but this would be very user-unfriendly).
As a comparison, if the payment is completed in the first step, all attendee data are saved correctly. That scenario works correctly.

I’m sorry to see you’re having this problem, I know it’s frustrating! Thank you for the detailed explanation and steps to reproduce, that helps us track down the issue so much faster.
The very good news is that there is a fix completed and set to go out in our next maintenance release, hopefully this week. I’ve marked this ticket as ‘Pending Fix’ so you will get a notice as soon as the release goes out.
Thanks for bearing with us! We should have an update for you soon 🙂
Cheers,

March 24, 2017 at 10:54 pm #1259906TrishaMemberHello Andras!
Thank you for the update and so sorry about the frustration.
To be clear, are you saying that when new tickets are created that the same behavior still occurs or is it that the attendee meta from existing tickets is not visible?
The fix won’t be able to recover lost data from previous transactions, it should work on new transactions.
If you are having a problem with new transactions please let us know as it means we need to investigate further.
Thank you so much, I look forward to hearing from you!
Cheers,
