Attempting to add content inside loop.php for map view

We would like to display our advertisements after every second post. I did this successfully on the list view by adding the advertisement function call at the end of the while loop and creating a flag to let me know every second post. Doing this in the map view seems to be causing some problems though. Firstly I tried to write a function to handle working out which ad I wanted and calling that. However when I called this function the mapview would display correctly but with a spinning loading wheel over it. I thought perhaps my code was causing it to not finish loading correctly so I migrated the core of my function directly into the while at the end of loop.php now my advertisements will appear correctly for a moment while the spinning loading sign is present then the loading symbol goes away and with it so does my advertisements.

I’m using oiopublisher to display my banner ads, I’m overriding loop.php inside my child template.

Thanks for reaching out. The features you are trying to implement are possible, but would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement 🙁

So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you.
