Attach images to .ics feed download

I saw this thread from a couple years ago with code that would allow images to be included in an ics feed. Is this code still relevant or is there a way to easily set that up now?

That thread is admittedly pretty old – but why not give it a go and see how you get on 🙂

Please do also consider posting this as a feature request, that way we might (unless there is a reason not to) bake this in to a future release.
