assigning a single category to a button

Hello,

I have categorised my events (workshops and trainings) in different categories.

I’m now creating an overview page in WP with some more general details on each type of workshop or training with a button to go to the planned ones. When clicking that button I want only the category specified showing, not the whole list of planned events. I can’t seem to find how to do that – single event no problem, a series (category) however 🙁

It’s just a matter of using the slug /events/category/my_category
