Assign venues also to posts & pages

Hi, is there a way to assign event venues also to regular wordpress posts and pages. I am thinking about something like a metabox/widget box in admin area, when editing posts or pages. There a drop down list is available featuring all event venues and 1 can be selected and assigned to this post. Goal would be to use the same event location information as is also used by events (for a website that lists events but also reviews about locations).

I’d imagine that’s possible but I’m not sure how many of our users would need such a feature – but you could certainly post a feature request:

Beyond that I’m afraid this is really a customization that you’d need to drive forward by yourself.
