I’m wondering if there is a way to set different page templates for the full calendar view and the single event view. In the dashboard settings, I see where to set a template that applies to the entire plugin, but it would be nice to differentiate the two.

On the site I’m working on, I have two page templates (one with a sidebar and one without). The full calendar looks great if I use the template with no sidebar, but the individual events have far too much white space. If I add the sidebar, the individual events look much better, but the calendar looks very cramped.

    Any suggestions?

So it sounds like you’ve already found the relevant setting in Events > Settings > Template.

If Events Template is set to Default Events Template then that means ecp-page-template.php will be used to serve pages such as the calendar view and ecp-single-template.php will be used for individual events.

These templates can be customized and overriden within your theme, we’ve got a handy tutorial for that (click through to our Tutorials using the link in our Useful Resources widget).

    Does that help here?
