I have read this documentation page [https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-specific-ticket-settings/], and have a question (or more once I decide to test it online).
Let’s say, in the case of default example giving by you:
When to generate the attendee records:
Pending Payment, On Hold, CompletedWhat will happen to attendee records, if s/he fails to complete their order, either because they cancelled it manually or because it timed out after X minutes; hence the order status moved from “Pending Payment >> Cancelled”.
Will the records get deleted?One more question:
We don’t use manual orders (for the time being), therefore, I was thinking that I could set the configs to something like:When to generate the attendee records:
Completed
When to send the emails:
CompletedSo that only after a successful payment, the records are added and emails are sent. Would that scenario work just fine?
A little more information is appreciated.

The attendee records will still be there but will show the order was cancelled.
So that only after a successful payment, the records are added and emails are sent. Would that scenario work just fine?
Sounds looks like a good approach. I recommend running a quick sample purchase in a test event (with a coupon or a free ticket) to validate it’s working as expected.

and thanks for the reply.
I did upgrade to 4.4.2, and can confirm that the scenario I have discribed is working, but I must make a note that beside the new order completion feature that was redesigned in 4.4.2, I am also using the https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-autocomplete-order/ plugin; but hopefully it’s just standing there as a backup solution in case something goes wrong with the natural order of events.
