ParticipantI originally submitted a ticket for this problem: Apostrophe in Sitename for Emailed Ticket
The latest update fixed the emailed ticket problem but the problem still exists for an emailed RSVP.

ParticipantHey Dan,
I apologize for the continued issue here. I opened a new bug ticket for this one and pointed out that the issue persists on other emails (including RSVP and not just the WooCommerce Tickets email). You’ll be notified here as we make progress here.
In the meantime, does the temporary solution provided by George in the previous thread still work for now?
Thanks!

ParticipantYes, that’s still working perfectly. Thanks.

MemberHello,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We weren’t able to get a fix for it into our upcoming release (4.1). However, please know that the problem is still on our radar and is ticketed within our system to be addressed in a future maintenance release. We’ll do our best to keep you posted when we are able to get a solution in place. Thank you for your patience while we improve and expand our plugins.
Best,
LeahJune 28, 2016 at 10:30 am #1133055Josh
ParticipantHey Dan,
Wanted to follow up here.
Our team was working on this issue for an upcoming release but was unable to replicate this issue now with the latest versions of the plugin. Can you verify if the issue has been fixed for you when using the latest versions?
Thanks!

ParticipantI just tested it with 4.2.1.1 and still had the same problem. This was subject of an email received when doing an RSVP.

ParticipantHey Dan,
Thanks for following up here. I’ve done some further testing myself and followed up with the developer assigned to this issue.
Thanks!

MemberHey there, Dan!
We wanted to follow-up to let you know that we were able to patch this up in Event Tickets 4.2.2, which is now available to download and install if you haven’t done so already.
Please do be sure to check out our release notes for a full overview of what’s new in the release and feel free to let us know if you run into this or any other issues after the update.
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on this!
Cheers,
GeoffJuly 22, 2016 at 9:15 am #1142956Dan Feeley
ParticipantNo luck, I just tried it this morning on 4.2.3 but am still seeing the same problem.

ParticipantHey Dan,
I’m terribly sorry about the continued issue here. I’ll test this again myself and look back over the development notes on the associated ticket here.
Thanks!

ParticipantJosh,
I was just curious if you were able to recreate this issue or if I have something else going on here. I just tried it again on 4.2.4 and still had the same problem.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Dan,
I was able to recreate the issue and created a new ticket for this one. There was a little confusion between this issue and another that dealt with an event name (rather than the site title) having an issue with the apostrophe. This has been clarified with the assigned developer.
I am terribly sorry again about the delays with this particular issue.
Thanks!

ParticipantNo problem, thanks again Josh.
Looks like this issue was taken care of in 4.2.5August 23, 2016 at 6:26 am #1154762Josh
