API with Voter Activation Network

we will have a calendar inside a database system called Voter Activation Network. They have an API available.
Is there a way to have this wordpress front-end communicate via API w/ events in our other system?
do you all do that?

Something like this is technically possible, but would require extensive custom coding. We unfortunately would not be able to help build it 🙁
