ParticipantHi,
I have followed every step to set up the eventbrite ticket plugin. However there is one step that is missing and will not allow me to import events from eventbrite. When I go to my user profile there is no option to enter the API key. What do I need to do?Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.
We have changed to the new Eventbrite API and it uses a different process so the API key is no longer in your profile.
Please update or verify you are running Eventbrite 3.9.4 and follow this new guide to setting it up:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-eb-tickets/
Let me know if you run into trouble with that.
Thanks

ParticipantOk I followed the steps in that video exactly and I even had success gaining access to eventbrite. But when I still go into import:Eventbrite it says “We were unable to import your Eventbrite event. Please verify the event id and try again.” The event is https://www.eventbrite.com/myevent?eid=13803190715 and I entered the numbers at the end like it says. I am lost. Please help.

MemberHi,
I can help out.
I tried to visit that event at Eventbrite and it said it is private.
Can you confirm that is a public event, only public events are accessible to import.
Thanks

ParticipantYes it is set to public. All of the events in our account are set to public.

MemberOk that link you provided is the private link for the event in your account so that was my confusion.
Using the public link:
I was able to get the ID:
13803190715
And it imported on my site.
If you try just that ID does it still not import?

ParticipantOk well I have no idea what is going on. I do try just the ID numbers and it does not work. Either way we have decided to go with the woocommerce plugin instead. Thank you for your help.
