An Event without a Venue

Normally all of our events have a bricks-and-mortar venue. Our event listings look great with the venue name, address, map, etc.

But I have an event coming up that does not have a physical location. Is there a way to disable the venue information for just this event?

Hi Kurt. Sure thing. Just don’t add a Venue!

When it says “Add New Venue”, just ignore it and leave it empty and it won’t have a Venue assigned at all.

OK, I played around with this a bit. Your answer is good… UNLESS you’ve got address info in Events Calendar -> Settings -> Default Content -> Address. I had the country and state set as defaults. Under those conditions it generated a venue of “Unnamed Venue” if I left it blank.

My workaround is to leave the defaults blank. No biggie.
