My client runs a Civil War Medical Museum which offers both public and private night tours for groups to paranormal investigations. They also have seasonal events, school field trips, group tours that arrive by bus and paranormal conventions in the Summer. Paracons are currently handled through the EventBrite service. My client typically posts public night tours on Google Calendar. Visitors are required to check the event calendar before going to another page to purchase tickets. Paranormal groups typically pick an open weekend on the calendar then go to another page to purchase tickets. I’m looking for a more integrated streamlined solution. I like the way your plugins seamlessly blend with a site.

Would my client need to purchase the Events Calendar Pro. Event Tickets Plus and the EventBrite Tickets, or just one of them? I was looking at your product bundles. I like the Ultimate Bundle, however, it has plugins in there they won’t need or use such as the Filter Bar, Event Aggregator, Community Events, and the Community Tickets. Do you offer custom bundles?

    Hi There,

Thanks for considering our products. Based on the requirements and the fact you use eventbrite, you could probably get away with using just the events calendar and eventbrite tickets plugin. You wouldn’t need Events Tickets Plus in this scenario.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi Brendan,

Thank you for your help. Would you be able to elaborate or provide an example? I took another look at the Event Calendar plugin screenshots and feature list, as well as the demos. Unless I’m missing something, it doesn’t appear that this plugin allows for the sale of tickets. In my client’s case, they only use EventBrite for special events that involve VIPs. All other events such as Museum night tours, tickets are purchased through a custom form currently.

I am still unclear on the difference between Event Calendar, Event Calendar Pro, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus. My client would need to display upcoming events at various places on the website as well.

    Thank you,
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

Sorry maybe I read this wrong. If you are trying to sell tickets on your site and on eventbrite depending on the venue, you would need Eventbrite and Event Tickets plus. Event Calendar Pro gives you additional features like shortcodes which will enable you to show events on various pages on your site. So, looks like you would Need all Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro (both have to be installed), Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus (both have to be installed), and Eventbrite Tickets.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Brendan
