Hi, I’m trying to customize and use ECP in a slightly non-traditional way and was hoping to get some guidance / a pointer in the right direction. I’m creating a publication schedule where each event date would represent the issue date for a particular publication. That publication (event) will also have 2 additional dates (the ad close date, and the materials due date) added using the custom field functionality (or using a custom field plugin). Is it possible to change which of these dates ECP uses to display the calendar? (ex. Display by issue date / Display by ad close date) Would this be a huge customization task? I would only want to enter each publication (or event) once in the CMS. Perhaps there is a way to display the calendar by ‘start date’ OR ‘end date’ ? I think just one alternate date would be enough for my needs. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I actually think that would be fairly involved customization and, sadly, not one we can help too much with.
Building up familiarity with WP_Query and tribe_get_events() would certainly be a prerequisite – and I think if I were you I might start there and see if I can obtain and sort the data in the way I want first of all and then look at ways either to “inject” it into existing views or else, perhaps, actually build up some custom views of my own.
I hope that helps!
