ParticipantHello Modern Tribe Support Folks:
Is there a way to allow users to cancel tickets and then to reschedule for another date? I know we can do this in the admin area but would like to have users, who are attending free classes/events, to do this themselves. Keep in mind, that even our free events require Ticket Field Sets for them to register. They cannot be RSVPs because they don’t allow us to do Field Sets, still true? So how could this be done?
Thanks for your help.

MemberHi, Ron. No event’s ticket is connected to another event’s ticket.
As an example for RSVP type ticket: They would need to change their response for Event A from Going to Not Going and then get a ticket to Event B.
We don’t have this functionality built-in. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your own developer or reference our Customizations Documentation, which includes a link to Hire A Freelancer.

ParticipantHey Cliff:
So my question now is, can users cancel tickets (not RSVPs) on their own? For example, if they had a conflict, we want THEM to be able to cancel/return the ticket, not need an administrator.
Thanks for all of your help on this.

MemberYes, they can. Each event will add “/tickets” to the end of its URL for each logged-in attendee (i.e. they have a WordPress user account and were logged in when they obtained the ticket).

ParticipantHey Cliff:
I do not see that URL …/tickets anywhere. I have registered for an event and received the ticket, but nowhere on the ticket or on order confirmation is there a link for them to cancel ticket. Is there a setting I need to adjust to make this url appear?
Thanks for your help.

MemberThe only place to see the link is at this location on the single event page: https://cl.ly/42846787b46c
Let me know if you don’t see it.

ParticipantHey Cliff:
I think you are misunderstanding what I am trying to do. I would like to be able to have the people who have purchased tickets be able to cancel them on their own. These are not RSVPs. Is this possible?
Thanks for bearing with me on this.

MemberPurchases via WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads don’t have “refund self-service”, if that’s what you’re wanting.
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
