Allow pdf's in image upload section

I have thought of a work around to allow my community event organisers to upload a pdf schedule. I do not need images, so if pdf was a file type allowed in the image upload section of the community events ‘submit event’ form, it will mean that I can then retrieve the pdf from my media library and manually add a link to it in the event description.

So, if this is possible, where/how do I change the file types allowed for upload in community events?
Also, where do I change the wording from ‘Event Image’ to ‘Event Schedule’

I have a feeling you’ll say the above isn’t possible, but I have found a plugin which will do the job (WordPress File Upload – Version 3.9.5 | By Nickolas Bossinas).

So, if I need to resort to this method, I need to add a link to the ‘community submit event’ form after the form has been submitted, saying something like click here to upload schedules and entry forms. What code do I add to where to do that?

This isn’t “not possible”, but unfortunately it is only possible with custom coding or another plugin. We cannot help with custom coding here, as elaborated upon on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

So if you can do this by way of another plugin, definitely try that out!
