    Hello there,

    I hope you could help me with the following challenge. Is there a chance to allow only one ticket purchase per checkout? So each person is only allowed to buy one ticket for an event?

    Hello Josh,

    Just wanted to quickly thank you for your feedback. Just tried it out. Good news, it helps us with 50% of our issues. Bad news, unfortunately not with the other one. What the Plugin obviously does is to limit the purchase of each event to 1 ticket. We however would like to limit the purchase for the entire shopping cart to 1.

    Now:
    – Event A: You can only buy 1 ticket. Yeah!
    – Event B: You can still buy 1 ticket for this other event in the same checkout process.

    What we would need:

    – Event A: You can only buy 1 ticket. Yeah!
    – Event B: It’s not possible to by a ticket during the same checkout process.

    Hey Sylvie,

    No problem!

    For the other element here, take a look at this article. It looks like this option will delete old products in the cart once a new item is added.

    It’s most likely not the best solution from a UX perspective (users will just think the site is broken if, without warning, items from their cart get deleted). You could overcome this though by adding some text in the cart and throughout the purchase experience detailing that they can only purchase one ticket at a time.
