Hi tribe members, we are struggling for weeks with All-in-One Event Calendar with a huge cache & search bot issues. Now we like to test your Event Calendar and would like to know how we can import the events in the All-in-One Event Calendar to The Event Calendar. What do you recommend?
Thanks and have a good time, Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your interest in our plugin.

There is not currently an easy way to do this, but it can be done. Probably the easiest way is to convert All-in-one’s iCal export to a CSV file. You might want to involve a programmer to make it automated. Or go right into your WP database and export AIO events to Excel (or a similar program), organize the data (which might be a bit difficult again), then export as a CSV. Once you have the CSV file, you can import to The Events Calendar with our handy CSV Importer.

Of course there is always the manual copy and paste option as well, where you just create a new event in TEC and copy/paste data from the old calendar. I know that’s not ideal, but depending on the size of your calendar it might be the best option.

We are working on making this an easier transition. I’m sorry I don’t have a perfect solution for you now, but in the future we want this switch to be as smooth and easy as possible and are working towards that end. I hope one of the above options will work for you. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help!

Best,

Leah
