ParticipantHi! I’m using Apppresser to make my calendar into an app (exciting!!) which is working great in general. However I’ve noticed a quirk: in Apppresser, when I first visit the main search page on my calendar, the filter bar is there and works fine. If I navigate to an event page, then click “All Events” to get back to the list, the filter bar is gone. I know you can’t help me figure out glitches with other plugins, but I’m wondering if this is happening because the “All Events” link is perhaps pointing to a slightly different version of that main events page? And if so, how can I make it point back to the version that I see when I first open the site?
I hope that makes sense… Thank you!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I am limited on the support I can provide for something like this but I’m happy to help dig into this a little further with you.
It does sound like an interesting situation. To help answer your question here, would you mind verifying the same steps if I were to use the site as if I were using the app version.
- I go to your main events page at http://wheretogokiddo.com/search/. The filters show there by default.
- I click on the first event in that list
- On the single event view, I click “All Events” at the top of the page
- I’m taken back to http://wheretogokiddo.com/search/ and the filter bar displays
Are those the correct steps? If so, the difference here is that in the app step #4 doesn’t display the filters?
If that’s the case, there shouldn’t be any change or difference in the URLs for those two links. When the app has the issue with displaying, is it not showing the full filter section or is it an issue that those filters are collapsed and not able to expand?
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks so much for your response. You’re exactly right – the problem is that for step #4, the filter bar is simply gone. I’m feeling like this is probably too complicated to sort out without both of us looking at Apppresser… so unless a solution springs to mind to you, let’s just let this go. Just thought I’d put it out there in case you might have an easy answer for me 😉

ParticipantHey!
Sorry I wasn’t any help here.
An option here would be to reach out to Apppresser for some feedback on this issue. It’s possible that there could be a common javascript accommodation that gets performed on the app creation side of things that could be conflicting here. Knowing that could mean that an additional accommodation in the events javascript could be customized to work there? (completely a random hypothesis here though).
Thanks!
