    Hi,

I have the events calendar shortcode on a post but when you click on a single event, the link back to all events doesn’t return to the post with the shortcode, it instead goes to the url in the settings page. Is there a way to set this link to the shortcode post?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Would you mind sending me a link to the page where you are seeing the issue, as well as provide me with the exact shortcode that you are using?

Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jamie,

We are using the shortcode: [tribe_events view=”list²] on this page:

    https://downeast.com/things-to-do-in-maine/

if you click on an event the link at the top that takes you back to the
events (see attached image) list doesn¹t take you back to the list on the
page with the shortcode, it takes you to the page created by the plugin.
In our case, it takes you back to here:

    https://downeast.com/thingstodoinmaine/

We named it the same without the hyphens so it wouldn¹t be too obvious
that you¹ve been taken to a completely different page.

I¹d be nice if there was a setting to bring you back to the page we set up
    with the shortcode.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for providing me with that information.

This is actually related to a known bug that we are currently working on.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
