ParticipantAfter updating all plugins to 3.12 and setting WP timezone to NY (EDT) dates on imported Facebook events are off by one day. On the import page it shows the date as one day after the date shown on the Facebook Event page (also NY EDT). Upon importing the incorrect date is used.
Under the Event Calendar settings page I have tried both the use sitewide timezone as well as as use local timezone for each event settings. No difference

MemberHi @media325,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this incompatibility ๐
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. This sounds like a bug but I would like to discard a conflict before confirming this.
Thanks for the catch. Hope we can make this right soon,
Best,

MemberHey @media325,
Thanks for sending over the system info and also for testing this on a clean site.
I’ve tried to reproduce this myself with no luck, and also pinged the team on this, but we don’t seem to be able to see this on our end. System info looks fine, I don’t see nothing that I can relate to the issue.
Do you recall any particular settings on your server that might be affecting this? Can you try to input the timezone in WordPress to UTC-4 instead of New York? Is there any difference on the result?
Also are you importing these events manually by event id or are they importing automatically? If you can also try to see if there’s any difference there I would appreciate.
Sorry for the many follow-up questions, but we are not seeing any reports of this by other users and still can reproduce it on our end.
Thanks,

ParticipantI’ve changed the WP timezone setting to UTC-4. On the import screen the dates are still off but the correct dates are actually imported. That works for me now. Thanks

Not quite sure about what was happening here as we couldn’t reproduce it at any point. Anyway, thganks for sharing your workaround!
Iโll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please donโt hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.
