ParticipantThe advanced widget has not been displaying in any kind of rational order when we have both reoccurring events and regular events. For a while it seemed to be doing it by order of event creation, but I have no idea what is actually going on. We need to have reoccurring items and we need to have regular events.

ParticipantHi d20games,
Have you made any modifications to the widget? It looks like it’s displaying the original date for the recurring events when it should be displaying the soonest upcoming start date… And can you please confirm you are running version 2.0.11 of the Pro plugin?
Thanks,

ParticipantYes. running 2.0.11 and no, i’ve made no modifications to the plugin. Where would the the code for the plugin be? I wanted to mess with it…hoping to get more control for the formatting, but I’m not a coder. In the meantime, I have a royal mess to deal with trying to work around the problems with dealing with reoccurring events and eventbrite integration. I’m currently using Duplicate TEC Event to work around the problems with viewing the duplicate events wrong and to be able to exclude dates in a reoccurrence string.

ParticipantHi d20games,
I just created a recurring event on my end with similar date parameters (starting in May, ending in July and recurring every week) and it shows up correctly for me. I wonder if there is a plugin conflict going on. Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to see if that helps?
Please create separate threads for the other issues so we can keep things organized.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi d20games,
Hmmm, to reinstall the plugins you can just delete all the existing plugin files and then re-copy them back over. Or just re-copy the files over, replacing the existing ones.
I hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions.

ParticipantUpdate…I removed and reinstalled the Events Cal and the events cal pro. It was working for a moment until I updated one of the reoccurring items. Then it went back to showing it wrong.

ParticipantHi d20games,
Ok, that’s strange. Can you tell me specifically the steps you are taking so I can try and reproduce and/or record a quick screencast? I’ve tried a couple different scenarios and nothing is doing what you are describing.
Thanks,
