ParticipantI’m trying to use the Advanced Post Manager to filter through events on a client’s site.
Some filters seem to work but others don’t.
For example I have had success filtering by venue location.
However, when I try to filter by ticket sales or start or end date, it just returns the whole list of events.
I’ve attached images of these filter results.March 20, 2018 at 4:52 am #1483780Andras
KeymasterHi xen,
Thanks for getting in touch!
I just tested APM on my test site. I found that the start date filtering works without issue.
Also the ticket sales works, with a glitch. I have events on several pages. If the event with sales is on the third page, then first I need to apply the filter, then paginate to the third page. I’ll open a bugticket for this.
The other option would be to show more events in the list on one page. You can set this if you open the ‘screen options’ at the top right of the screen and set the number higher.
Can you possible do a screen recording about the date filtering issue so that I can see what’s happening there?
Thanks,
AndrasMarch 25, 2018 at 8:48 pm #1488208xen

ParticipantComing back to you on this.
We’ve now followed your plugin conflict testing and we’ve updated all plugins on the site but the problem persists. The filter doesn’t work for us.
The only filter that works for us is location. Nothing else works. Same issue as in the video we shared earlier.

MemberHi Xen,
As with Andras, I seem unable to replicate the same problems you showed via your screen recording.
Except that you already tested this angle, I would also have assumed a conflict with your theme or another plugin. It looks like you have a staging site available: normally we don’t log into customer websites but on this occasion that may be easiest if we’re to get a better idea of what’s going wrong.
If you’re happy to do so, can you:
- Provide credentials for your staging site
- Deactivate all plugins except those by Modern Tribe
- Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Seventeen
- Install and activate a plugin called Query Monitor
Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any problems arising from the troubleshooting process, though of course we will take reasonable care.
If you are able to facilitate the above steps, please do update this topic (using a private reply to share credentials).
Thanks!
