Advanced Post Manager filters and Yoast SEO Text link counter conflict

Saw on another thread here that if Advanced Post Manager filters are not working for your Events list, and you have Yoast SEO installed, that you should try to disable the Text link counter in Yoast SEO > Dashboard > Features, and try the filters again.

I can confirm that disabling the Text link counter in Yoast SEO free version does indeed get the filters working again and displaying results correctly.

The filter was actually working all along, as you could see the results number changing under the search box when applying various filters, but the displayed list would contain results that did not fit the filter. In fact, of the results that were shown, the items that should have been there because they fit the filter, were not being listed at all. It was acting completely reverse of the intended result.

Disabling the Text link counter setting in Yoast SEO “fixed” the issue.

I’ll try and post this on Yoast’s support as well, as I don’t think it is a problem with APM, just thought I’d post my experience since this is the first place I came to get it sorted out.
