Adsense code

Hi there. I’m using Events PRO 3.1 and I’m trying to figure out how to input the Google Adsense code that I’m using. I see there is an option to add “HTML” before the events calendar/map…but when I copy/paste the Adsense code in the HTML editor it displays the actual code word for word on the website and not the Google Ads. I’ve noticed that when I click on the ‘text’ tab there is google verbage (probably grabbed from my themes style), but its not displaying anything either.

Any ideas?

Hi, jaywhack. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with adding the HTML to your calendar. Other users have reported that it works, but may take some time: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/adsense-abovebelow-the-calendar/

As far as troubleshooting goes, have you tried changing to another template? What about changing to one of the default WP themes? Is it possible that one of your other plugins is interfering?

Let me know after you do some more testing. 🙂 I look forward to getting to the bottom of this with you.

Thanks for the info. I actually figured it out…I had to delete all the Google Adsense HTML that was automatically entered in the HTML ‘text’ field by The Events Calendar, and repaste the Adsense HTML from one of the other pages of my theme. It was a lucky guess…but it worked!
