Ben
ParticipantSo I have upgraded from Calendar Events to Pro and my admin menu is only showing Settings, Events, and Add-Ons. I am running both plugins. Events Calendar is version: Version 2.0.10
and Events Calendar Pro is: Version 2.0.10 – I am in a real pickle here because on my development site it was totally fine, it was once I moved it to the live site that I am having issues…Could there be something in the database that would not have switched.I have renamed the database but as far as I can see I have corrected everything in the database that would be pulling anything from the old database.
Really Confused, and Really in a Hurry…Your Help would mean a recommendation to the High Council to become a Jedi Master on your behalf!
Thanks
Ben

ParticipantHey Ben,
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if something else is getting in the way here? Or, can you try reinstalling both plugins? Maybe some of the files didn’t get copied over. I can’t think of any other reason why the admin menu wouldn’t be showing properly.
I hope that helps,

ParticipantI have deactivated every plugin and switched to the default 2011 theme. I am on wp 3.5 as well. Anyway I can send you credentials to login to my wp-admin just to take a quick look?

ParticipantHey Ben,
Let me have you try reinstalling both plugins first. Then I’ll take a look at the admin.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Ben,
Very strange. I’m not sure why the menu is not displaying fully. I’ll need to escalate this and have another dev take a look. Sorry, but that may take another day or two. Stay tuned.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Ben,
So it appears you have an access role management plugin installed and your ‘admin’ user ‘drum’ and that’s why you’re not seeing the menu. You’ll need to adjust the plugin settings to provide the proper permissions for them to see the menu items.
Does this help?

ParticipantYour Brilliant! – We use the plugins types and views to create some custom content and someone had turned on the user controls, which we really don’t need but in the future I would hope that this plugin would be compatible with types and views.
However, you still are in my mind a JEDI MASTER!

ParticipantAwesome Ben, glad to hear that worked! Let us know if you need anything else.
