Admin bar en Dashboard not blocked / hiding

Hi,

We just installed Community Events (already have PRO and Wootickets).
Unfortunately the admin bar is not disappearing on the selected roles. Dashboard is also not blocked. Can you please help fix this?

I’m sorry you are experiencing difficulties.

Can you confirm which roles you chose to block and – though I’m sure you did this – confirm that you also checked the Block access to WordPress dashboard checkbox, in addition to the individual roles?

YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.

If the above doesn’t help, though, could you try running through our complete troubleshooting steps in case there is a conflict with your theme?

I understand you have to ask that questions and unfortunately I indeed chose Block acces to WordPress dashboard.
We’re currently live and can’t mess around much so I just hid the admin bar entirely. It creates some difficulties but we’ll try to fix it in the future. Thank you for your response though. We’ll be in thouch 😉

OK, what I’ll do in that case is close this thread but if you want to investigate in more detail in the future please just create a fresh topic and one of the team will be happy to help.

I can definitely understand that – and it might be creating a test site offers a way to workaround this (especially if your host offers 1-click installations of WordPress it’s pretty easy to set this up in a subdirectory and test there).
