Admin area sorting by post date, not start or end date

In the admin side of the plug-in, I cannot find any way to add the post date column, nor sort by the actual post date of the event, not the event start or end date. How does one accomplish this?

Hey there @spireworks,

Is there a tab in the upper right corner of your admin screen that says “Screen Options” (screenshot)? If so, will you please click that and make sure the Start Date option is checked (screenshot)?

The Start Date column will appear once that is selected and will allow you to sort events by the Start Date.

I don’t want to sort by Start Date. I want to sort by POST date. The date that it is put into WordPress.

The posts are ordered by Post Date by default even though the column itself does not show.

Thank you! It was not looking that way and I was trying to do a massive stare and compare with hundreds of items and it was just fighting me the whole way.

Hey @spireworks,

In looking into this pretty deeply, I’m afraid there isn’t a clean way to display the Post Date in the admin area. I was able to find a some good resources on how to add custom columns to a custom post type, but believe it would take editing core plugin files, which I would not recommend doing for the sake of maintenance and losing work.
