ParticipantI’ve been searching the internet for days trying to find an answer to this and the best answer I could find was to update the events calendar and event tickets plugin to their current version. Currently we are on Event Tickets v4.4.7, Event Tickets Plus 4.4.3, The Events Calendar v4.5.1, and The Events Calendar Pro v4.4.4. When a user tries to register for an event by buying a ticket they are asked for additional attendee information, which are currently marked as required, but when they submit their payment the additional attendee information is not saving with their record.
It was my understanding after reading a previous post on your forum that this bug was corrected in the 4.4.4 version, but this still seems to be occurring in the v4.4.7 version. Having this not working has basically rendered all our work on this site utterly useless because we are having to resort back to calling those who have registered and ask them to give us the information they already filled out, but didn’t save.
What information can we provide or do in order to make this actually save the additional attendee information?

We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have faced with the additional attendee information. Yikes !
I would love to help you with this topic.
To clarify, in order to ensure proper functioning you will need “matching” versions of our plugins.
In other words, plugins that have a similar release date. The latest version of our plugins is always a good way to achieve this setup.At the time of writing that means:
- the Events Calendar 4.5.1
- the Events Calendar Pro 4.4.7 – you currently have 4.4.4
- Event Tickets 4.4.7
- Event Tickets Plus 4.4.7 – you currently have 4.4.3
So in short, it looks like your first step would be to update 2 out of the 4 plugins.
If that still does not work, there might be a conflict at play.
But let’s first see how the upgrades go.

I updated the PRO plugins to their most recent version and this does indeed seem to fix the issue. I wasn’t aware there was an update to the PRO plugins because there was no indication of a needed update through the WP Admin like there was with the free plugins of Event Tickets and The Events Calendar. Everything seems to be working now though, so I appreciate the feedback.
