ParticipantHi,
I am trying to change the email template that someone gets when he RSVP’s. In that email the date is mentioned. Is it possible to show the year also instead of only the day and month?
I also added the DK pdf plugin for printing tickets but in the ticket settings there is not checkbox added, should I do something else there to make it visible?
Thanks

KeymasterHey Ruben,
Great questions. I might be able to help you out with both.
To change the email template you will need to create a template override. You can find detailed info on how to do this in our Themer’s Guide.
You will need to create an override of this file:
\wp-content\plugins\event-tickets\src\views\tickets\email.php
here
\wp-content\themes\[your-theme]\tribe-events\tickets\email.php
And probably this function will be useful:
As for the DK plugin, you also need to have this extension activated.
Once you have that you will have an extra option under Events > Settings > Tickets tab and looks like this.
Does this help?
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Andras,
Thanks! Instead of adding a link to a PDF (which needs an account for the participant to download), would it also be possible to add the document to the email?
I get the security issue but demanding everyone to create an account isn’t ideal.September 8, 2017 at 2:17 am #1346493Andras
KeymasterHey Ruben,
I see your point in the need for login, especially if a user does not create an account. We already have a bugticket on file for this and will be fixed sometime in the future. At the moment I cannot give you any fixed date for this however.
I will check regarding the attachment and will let you know.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
