ParticipantGuys,
I am having an issue with the coordinates of a venue using longitude and latitude. Previously I have used Event Rocket to pinpoint the location.
1. When I migrate my main site will it migrate across the ER ones?
2. When I try and add one on my “staging site” it doesn’t keep the values.I’m trying to add Luna Park in Sydney with -33.847757, 151.209851.

If you could have a look and advise.
Glenn.
PS – I look forward to my 5% discount for each bug I can squash on the upgrade of my license for my new domain. 😉

ParticipantIt seems that if the coordinates in the right side column that are from Event Rocket are left blank (or zeros) then it nukes them out of the “Use latitude + longitude” section.

MemberHi Glenn,
Thanks for the feedback.
I would not try running 3.10 with Event Rocket right now as Barry is coming out with a new version to work with 3.10 compatibility and remove features that are now included in Pro, such as the latitude + longitude.
If you try again without Event Rocket does 3.10 enable you to add the coordinates? I did check out that link and it appears to be correct in the map and shows in Luna Park.
Also, Event Rocket stores the latitude + longitude in the same place the Events Calendar itself does so you should not lose any data.
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for the reply.
Half related to my other post is the expected update to Event Rocket needed to get the shortcode [event_embed categories = “LongRun” limit=7] working as it is not working at the moment.

MemberOk,
As George said we do not support the Event Rocket on our forums.
If you are relying on Event Rocket it would be a good idea to wait until Barry updates it before updating all the plugins on your live site.
Thanks for the feedback so far and let me know if you have to coordinates issue worked out.
Cheers

ParticipantBrian,
Thanks.
FYI adding
add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');to functions.php sorted it out in case anyone else stumbles across this post.Regards,
Glenn.
