Adding Vendor Listing

Hi,
I’m curious if anyone may have already found a way to do this, or if it’s possible to make a feature request for event vendor information. For example, my business specializes in marketing, advertising and PR services for mobile food businesses, many of which vend from county fairs.

We are listing all events at each California county fairground in the Event Calendar. Since we specialize in food, it would be very useful to have the capability to store vendor name, point of contact, telephone, website url, etc., as well as a content box, like the venue and event pages.

I’m sure The Event Calendar can be customized, and open to hiring someone to develop this, as well.

Hey Christopher. Thanks for the note. It sounds like if I understand what you’re trying to do correctly here, you should be able to accomplish this via the custom fields functionality. Have you checked out how to add these on the Settings -> The Events Calendar page, and seeing how they display upon publication? That sounds like it’s right up your alley but let me know if you’re seeking something more.

As an aside, what’s your site? I work for a food truck here in California when I’m not working for the Modern Tribe, would be cool to see what you’re working on.
