Adding thumbnails to events list widget

Hello,

I believed that I followed these instructions to a “T” but I cannot get the thumbnails to show. My “list-widget.php” file does look different than in the tutorial– probably a new version. There is this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/after-the-update-the-adding-post-thumbnails-to-the-events-list-widget-not-work/#post-549929) out there but the question is unanswered. Can anyone lend a hand?

Hi – sorry you’re hitting difficulties!

Can you share the code you’ve added to your custom pro/widgets/list-widget.php template? Sharing via Pastebin or Gist (or some similar service) is best rather than posting directly in the forum.

Do also note the above filepath – the extra pro segment – as that is one place where it looks like the tutorial has come out of sync (so, basically, your custom version should live at your-theme/tribe-events/pro/widgets/list-widget.php).

Awesome, glad you’re all sorted and apologies for the confusion – we’ll get the tutorial updated appropriately.
