Adding thumbnail to widget-list.class.php

Hi there,

I’m hoping to add a thumbnail image for the first event to my Event List Widget. I see that this is possible in list views, as posted about here https://theeventscalendar.com/add-the-post-thumbnail-to-your-event-list/ , but I don’t seem to be able to replicate this in the php for widget-list.class.php .

Would this be possible?
