Adding recurring events fails in error

I’ve just purchased the pro plugin to be able to add recurring events. Every time I go to add a basic event, the plugin crashes in the following error;

I have tried switching my timezones thinking this was the issue, but no solution.

I have included a screenshot of my event date settings that cause this issue.

We are sorry to hear about the fatal error messages you have been receiving. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

From what I can gather, this seems to be related to your WordPress timezone settings.
I realize you have tried different timezones, but the issue seems to be at the WordPress timezone level.

More specifically, you current WordPress install does not have any specified timezone attached to it for some reason.

WP TIMEZONE
UTC
WP GMT OFFSET
Unknown or not set

I would recommend head over to General > settings and picking “Australia” from the Timezone list.

Once that is done, you can:

1. Go to Settings > Permalinks and re-save them
2. Go back to your event and try the recurrence rules once again.

Let me know how that goes.

Hello Geoff,

I have updated the Timezone to Sydney at the WordPress Settings level.

I have also resaved the WordPress permalinks.

But unfortunately, I am still get the same error when creating a new recurring event.

Any other possible suggestions?
