ParticipantIt appears since the latest update, the ORGANIZER doesn’t show on any new events I’m adding. Events that were added previously, like three weeks ago, display just fine.
Events that I’m trying to publish now are affected both in the edit Event window (displayed in the dashboard) as well as the data being displayed on the front end. I’ve tried adding an organizer to an event in the edit event window by choosing from the list of existing / available organizers, and it just doesn’t stick. I’ve also tried adding a new organizer to an event via the edit event window, and it doesn’t stick. However, the ORGANIZER data is indeed linked to the record… when I filter for the new test user that event indeed appears in the search results.
I troubleshooted the theme by activating Twenty Forteen and the glitch still occurs.
I’ve included two screenshots to show what I mean about the Organizer data on the front end not displaying.
Can you help! I was ready to launch this site, but there is still this wee hurdle. Thanks!

ParticipantWith some further digging, I realize it’s not simply related to the Organizer.
I can create a new event with an existing organizer, with an existing venue, then create a new ticket. The event looks fine up to this point; the ticket displays fine and the event details with Venue and Organizer look fine on both the front end and in the Dashboard. As soon as the Ticket details are edited in the WooCommerce > Products and saved, the event details (venue AND organizer) disappear.
Weird!

ParticipantI noticed you released an update to the plugins. After performing the updates, I’m still experiencing some glitchy issues:
When we create a new event, (add venue, add organizer, add a TICKET, save Ticket) then publish the event, the event looks fine on the front-end. BUT, as soon as the product linked to the ticket is edited in any fashion via WooCommerce (like sale date added or SKU added) then product updated, the event details disappear; specifically the venue and organizer details vanish upon “updating” the Product ticket.I then have to edit the event again re-adding the venue and organizer. Once the event is updated, the event details do appear to stick now. But the workflow is still glitchy.

ParticipantHey Chris,
Thanks for following up here.
We did have an update recently, however this unfortunately did not make it into that release due to the scoping for that release being defined before the bug was initially reported. However, we do have this one set to the highest possible priority and will be addressed and released as soon as possible.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Thanks for the heads up about a future update covering this glitch. Any news on the timing of that fix release?
Cheers,

ParticipantHey Chris,
Thanks for following up here.
Looking at the ticket here and it looks like the fix here should be included with the latest 4.2.4 update of the plugin.
Thanks!

Many thanks,

ParticipantHey David,
Thanks for reaching out to us here! I just tested the issue as originally described here with the latest versions of our plugin but wasn’t able to recreate.
Would you mind opening a new thread since it sounds like the issue you’re experiencing might have a different root source than the one for this thread?
Thanks!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
